Embedded Algorithms Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded Algorithms Engineer to develop and optimize signal processing algorithms on our radar system. In this role, you will have the responsibility of shaping our Signal Processing as it evolves, balancing current needs with future features. This is the job for you if you are looking to utilize your specialty to solve challenging technical problems while also being involved in several hardware related aspects of the product. This position is based in San Francisco, CA.

What You’ll Do

● Write firmware to drive novel radar processing techniques

● Assist in the transition from hardware prototypes into production devices

● Collaborate in a team environment across engineering disciplines including RF/Antenna, PCB design, and Data/AI

What You’ll Need

● Strong, proven skills in C/C++ for developing and optimizing signal processing algorithms.Proficiency in Python and MATLAB are a plus

● Experience working with DSP and hardware accelerators

● Familiarity with toolchains targeting ARM Cortex-M/R/A, etc

● Working knowledge of radar pipeline and hardware components

● Experience developing embedded machine learning models is a plus

Machine Learning and Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for a Machine Learning and Data Scientist to build state of the art ML and statistical models that draw useful insights from our growing database of radar data. In this role, you will have the responsibility of shaping our data approach as it evolves, balancing current needs with future features. This is the job for you if you are looking to use your experience to build a machine learning pipeline that is accurate, scalable, and impactful. This position is based in San Francisco, CA.

What You’ll Do

● Perform ML and statistical functions on radar data generated by our devices and turn it into actionable health insights

● Quickly test various approaches and hypotheses to select the most appropriate ones for purposes such as predicting a high risk of health events

● Work with the engineering team, especially Hardware and Infrastructure, to shape our machine learning pipeline as it scales

What You’ll Need

● Experience developing machine learning models at scale from prototype to production

● Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinning, such as classification, recommendation systems, optimization, and deep learning

● Strong knowledge of a scientific computing language (Python, etc.) and SQL

● Strong knowledge of statistics (clustering, regression, etc.)

● Proficiency with TensorFlow, Keras, or other deep learning framework

● Bonus - people who have worked on data for health or radar applications
